Devan Stuart Lesley

Devan Stuart Lesley is founder and president of Stuart Media, LLC, a Jacksonville, FL-based company offering writing, content management and video scripting and production services. She serves as a freelance correspondent for People magazine and co-chair of the Norman Studios Silent Film Museum, a nonprofit organization working to restore and reopen silent filmmaker Richard Norman’s five-building studio complex in Jacksonville’s historic Old Arlington district. It is the area’s sole surviving, silent film studio complex and was among the first to break the motion picture industry’s racial barrier, producing films that starred African-American actors playing positive, non-stereotypical roles. Lesley earned a Bachelor’s Degree in communications from the University of North Florida in 1996 and is a five-time Florida Press Association Award winner. She lives in Northeast Florida with her husband and a coterie of rescued pups.
