Dr. Bruce Janz is a Professor of Humanities, core faculty member of the Texts and Technology Ph.D. Program, and co-director of the Center for Humanities and Digital Research at the University of Central Florida in Orlando Florida. His PhD is in Philosophy from the University of Waterloo. He has taught in Canada, the US, Kenya and South Africa. He is author of Philosophy in an African Place, co-author of A Neurophenomenology of Awe and Wonder, and editor of the forthcoming Hermeneutics of Place and Space, as well as many articles and chapters on contemporary African philosophy, space and place, visual culture, contemporary European philosophy, digital humanities, and interdisciplinarity.
